Kate (she/her/hers) specializes in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and trauma informed care including the use of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) to treat multiple symptoms and diagnoses including PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, and others. Kate has experience working with individuals of all ages and with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum disorders.
Kate is a Licensed Social Worker, receiving her undergraduate degree in 2005 from The Pennsylvania State University, and her Masters degree in Social Work with a behavioral health specialization from Marywood University in 2009. Kate practiced in her Scranton hometown area for over 10 years before relocating to Ohio in 2020.
Kate is passionate about the use of EMDR therapy to assist in healing from trauma, as well as the use of Anti Racism and Discrimination training and practice to ensure quality care with each individual, providing a secure and welcoming space for treatment.
