
CARLEY DOWNING
Carley (she/her) is a Counselor Trainee working toward her Masters degree in Clinical
Mental Health Counseling at Antioch University. Carley has spent about six years working with
children with developmental disabilities and has a passion for supporting these children and their
families. In addition to this work, she gained valuable experience with crisis intervention
working with diverse children, adolescents, and their families in a Psychiatric Crisis Department.
While pursuing her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Otterbein University, she completed
extensive research with therapy dogs in high school classrooms and the benefits to student
mental health and wellbeing.
Carley approaches clients with acceptance and empathy, seeking to provide a safe,
accessible space for clients to express themselves. Carley is excited to get started supporting you
through your journey.
