CBT-i Wellness Group

Led by Abby Que (LSW, MSW), this wellness group is targeted for those suffering from insomnia. If you have difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep in a way that is negatively affecting your life, this group might be right for you.

This group is modeled after the evidence-based method for treatment of insomnia, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i). The group will meet for six 90-minute sessions and address thoughts, feelings, and behaviors contributing to the symptoms of insomnia, using psychoeducation, sleep diaries, relaxation training, stimulus control, and sleep restriction. The first 60 minutes of the group will be structured, followed by a 30 minute open discussion for questions and answers. Participants will be expected to complete assignments between sessions.


A pre-assessment will be administered to ensure you are appropriate for group CBT-i.

Session 4: Stress Management: Relaxation

Session 5: Stress Management: Stop Worrying about Sleep

Session 6: Stress Management: Problem Solving
