About Destinie

Destinie is an EMDR Therapist trained through an EMDRIA-Approved Program and is licensed in the state of Ohio as an Independent Clinical Social Worker under the Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board.

With several years of experience within the field, Destinie takes a holistic approach to mental health with a focus on the mind-body connection in efforts to heal the nervous system and improve quality of life. Destinie is experienced in working with PTSD, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, and Personality Disorders and is passionate about supporting the journey of others healing beyond trauma, adversity, and life transitions. To support this, Destinie utilizes an eclectic blend of therapy approaches to offer personalized services to meet the needs of each individual or family unit. Destinie works with adults and accepts children 5+ on a limited basis.
Some additional modalities within Destinie's clinical toolbox are:
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Integrative Polyvagal, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational interviewing.
