About Jashala

Jashala is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisor designation (LPCC‑S) and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC). She specializes in supporting individuals navigating substance use disorders, ADHD, anxiety, and major life transitions. She works with clients ages 10 and up and has a strong interest in supporting children, adolescents, and adults as they develop emotional awareness, coping skills, and confidence.​​​​​​​​​​​​​

In addition to her work with substance use disorders, Jashala also supports individuals who have been impacted by a loved one’s addiction, helping them understand the recovery process, navigate boundaries, and care for their own wellbeing. Her practice is grounded in a person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approach. She incorporates Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution‑Focused strategies, and psychoeducation to meet clients where they are and support meaningful, sustainable change.
Jashala strives to create a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. She welcomes clients from diverse backgrounds and identities and enjoys working with a wide range of presenting concerns. For clients seeking support around substance use, she asks that they be sober at the time of intake due to the level of care she provides. At this time, she does not specialize in personality disorders.
She earned her undergraduate degree from Tiffin University in 2015 and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Dayton in 2020.
