About Jennifer

I became a therapist because I discovered how much I value working one-on-one with people and supporting them through meaningful growth. Through my research and volunteer experiences, I realized my passion was not only understanding people but walking alongside them as they develop greater self-awareness, strengthen their relationships, and improve their day-to-day well-being. It is a privilege to help clients recognize their strengths and create lasting, meaningful change in their lives.

I am especially passionate about supporting individuals through identity exploration and personal growth. Whether navigating adolescence, young adulthood, or another stage of life, I enjoy helping clients explore questions about relationships, career, education, values, and life direction. My goal is to provide a safe, affirming space where every client feels accepted, respected, and valued, regardless of where they are in their journey.

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I strive to create an environment that is inviting, nonjudgmental, and even lighthearted when appropriate, believing that humor can be an important part of healing. Rather than over-pathologizing normal human experiences, I focus on understanding each person within the context of their unique life. While I often allow clients to guide our conversations, I'm happy to provide structure and direction whenever it's helpful.

In our sessions, you can expect a supportive space where all thoughts, emotions, and experiences are welcome. Together, we'll move at a pace that feels both safe and productive—challenging enough to foster growth while remaining grounded in your comfort and readiness. We'll work collaboratively to set goals, develop practical skills, and regularly check in to ensure therapy continues to meet your needs and support positive changes in your daily life.

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether hiking, working in the yard, visiting local parks, or exploring National Parks. I also love spending time with my family and dogs, tackling home improvement projects, reading, solving puzzles, and enjoying a thoughtful debate.
