About Justin
I believe effective counseling begins with trust, respect, and genuine human connection. I recognize that everyone brings unique experiences, strengths, values, and challenges to counseling, and I strive to honor what makes you who you are.
I work with children ages 6 and older, adolescents, adults, and families who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, emotional or behavioral challenges, parenting and family concerns, or significant life changes.
I also have a particular passion for supporting first responders, veterans, and their families. I understand that these individuals and families can face unique challenges.
My approach to counseling is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you better understand yourself. We will work together to identify what matters most to you and develop goals that reflect your individual needs.
I draw from evidence-informed approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based strategies. My focus is on helping you create meaningful, lasting change.
Above all, I believe meaningful change is possible, and you do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Together, we can build on your strengths, and work toward the changes that are meaningful to you.
