Morgan has a Masters in Counseling from Heidelberg University. She has previous experience working in college and community mental health settings.
Morgan has experience providing counseling, case management, and crisis intervention services to children and adolescents, families, and young adults who live with symptoms of ADHD,
ODD, anxiety, behavioral and
emotional disturbance, personal relationship and family conflict, depression, grief, life transitions, self-esteem, self-harm and suicidal thoughts, trauma, LGBTQIA+, and
Morgan uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered, and Strengths-Based Therapy with her clients. In addition, she also utilizes creative interventions such
as music, painting, art, journaling/poetry, and sand tray techniques.
Morgan believes her most important role as a counselor is to provide a positive therapeutic relationship for each client that facilitates acceptance, safety, and growth toward their goals. Morgan’s clients would most commonly describe her as caring, calm, supportive, and open-minded.
