Anxiety, depression, PTSD, SUD, adjustment disorders, life transitions. I have experience with people with BPD, bipolar disorder, and psychotic disorders, and I am currently pursuing further training in working with these populations as well as ADHD, ASD, religious trauma, and grief.

About PJ

PJ is a licensed social worker and licensed independent chemical dependency counselor. They earned their Bachelor of Science in Social Work in 2024 and their Master of Social Work in 2025, both from The Ohio State University.
PJ works with teens and adults from all walks of life and from diverse backgrounds and experiences. They have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and substance use disorders, both from an abstinence-based and a harm reduction view. PJ uses approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), person centered therapy, and arts-based therapy.
PJ uses an eclectic and holistic approach to each client to provide them with the therapeutic interventions that work best for their concerns. PJ aims to provide a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and affirming environment for each client. PJ is passionate about establishing a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, active listening, and providing a non-judgemental environment​​​​​​​​​​​​​
