Shana is the Founder & Owner of Modern Therapy, LLC and is dually licensed as a Professional Clinical Counselor, with supervision designation and an Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with Clinical Supervisor designation.
Shana received her undergraduate degrees from Purdue University and her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Ball State University. Additionally, Shana is an EMDR Therapist, via an EMDRIA-Approved Program.
Shana has over 23 years experience as a clinician and supervisor working in clinical, school, community mental health, MAT programs, rehab facilities, and private practice. Shana's background includes work with adolescents, teens, adults, and groups. As a seasoned clinician, Shana recognizes the courage it takes to seek out help and believes each of us have the capability of healing ourselves. Shana prides herself on providing a non-judgmental and safe environment with an authentic, humorous, and compassionate approach.
